- A full day -- leave Opryland around 9AM on a Greyline tour to Harrah's in Metropolis, IL. Arrive there around noon and they give you a free ticket for a great buffet lunch plus a free ticket for $5 to reimburse you for the Greyline ride! Bus leaves headed back to Nashville around 5:30 PM -- giving you plenty of time to do a little gambling, a lot of eating, plus time to walk a couple of blocks and tour Superman's home town. Makes for a full, fun filled day trip.

Narchez trace Pkwy
- I went for a drive on this parkway after reading about it here, and it was real fun to drive on the Natchez Trace Pkwy. From the Arch bridge to Waterfalls and Historic buildings all along the drive it was a great experience.
