From the third week of November through Christmas week, Gaylord Opryland Hotel (compare prices) is host to "A Country Christmas" which includes the viewing their spectacular holiday lights, Louise Mandrell Christmas Dinner Party, Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, ICE! to taking a General Jackson Holiday Cruise and browsing through the Treasures for the Holidays Craft Show. The ICE! experience will give guests and visitors alike an opportunity to visit a whimsical winter wonderland of interactive environments; larger-than-life, three-dimensional ice monuments; and colorful ice sculptures - many of which are more than 25 feet in length. (ICE Grinch photos) was added in 2007 and features a life-sized Grinch tale told in ice.
"Joy To The World" features the talented Louise Mandrell and her band as they spread the joy of the season with traditional Christmas music, dancing, comedy and along with a traditional family style holiday meal that includes all the trimmings.
Of course a Tour of the Atriums & Gardens of Opryland is a must see during any trip to the Opryland Hotel. Their Atriums encompasses nine lush acres of indoor gardens and are separated into three areas known as the Cascades, the Delta, and the Garden Conservatory.

Winter Wonderland
Travel and explore the Winter Wonderland Area that includes the annual Treasures for the Holidays craft show featuring a variety of handmade and novelty gifts, jewelry, clothing, artwork, and food; Hall of Trees, a showcase of decorated trees; take a magical ride around on the magical Holiday Kids Train; and make sure to stop by and get your photo taken with Santa too.
Opryland's Gingerbread-Making Classes are part of their Annual "A Country Christmas" Celebration and are normally held in the Winter Wonderland Area where guests have a choice of decorating either a miniature gingerbread house ornament or a gingerbread man.
Explore the Outdoor Nativity Display on the Opryland Lawn. It features rendition of the biblical story of the birth of Christ with special lighting effects.
Holiday Criuses down the Cumberland
Take a holiday cruise (day or night) down the Cumberland River on the
