From the third week of November through Christmas week, Gaylord Opryland Hotel (compare prices) is host to "A Country Christmas" which includes the viewing their spectacular holiday lights, Louise Mandrell Christmas Dinner Party, Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, ICE! to taking a General Jackson Holiday Cruise and browsing through the Treasures for the Holidays Craft Show. It is four weeks of non-stop holiday fun!

Radio City Christmas Spectacular: A Nashville Holiday Tradition

Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring the Radio City Rockettes is a Nashville Tradition. If you are not yet in the Christmas Spirit, this live production will get you humming Christmas Carols for weeks after.

Opryland Christmas Lights

Nearly 2 million Christmas Lights draw visitors from near and far to see this annual spectacular site of Nashville Christmas Lights. Viewing the this magnificent display is an annual tradition among locals and another favorite add on is taking a Horse-drawn Carriage Ride (Magnolia Portico) to enjoy the decorations and lights even more.

ICE! Nashville's Wonderful Winter Wonderland

The ICE! experience will give guests and visitors alike an opportunity to visit a whimsical winter wonderland of interactive environments; larger-than-life, three-dimensional ice monuments; and colorful ice sculptures - many of which are more than 25 feet in length. This seasons ICE! exhibit features none other than everyone's favorite cartoon character, Charlie Brown in A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Breakfast with Charlie Brown

Begin a day filled with holiday festivities by having breakfast with one of the world's most lovable losers, Charlie Brown. The star of this year's ICE! featuring A Charlie Brown Christmas will join families and Peanuts-loving friends for a NEW and delicious breakfast event.

Louise Mandrell's Christmas Dinner & Show

"Joy To The World" features the talented Louise Mandrell and her band as they spread the joy of the season with traditional Christmas music, dancing, comedy and along with a traditional family style holiday meal that includes all the trimmings.

Touring the Atriums & Gardens of the Opryland Hotel

Of course a Tour of the Atriums & Gardens of Opryland is a must see during any trip to the Opryland Hotel. Their Atriums encompasses nine lush acres of indoor gardens and are separated into three areas known as the Cascades, the Delta, and the Garden Conservatory.
During the holiday season you can also enjoy the Brightest Star Fountain Show (Delta)a glorious water show synchronized to your favorite holiday tunes; Rockabilly Christmas (Cascades) that includes a live band, dancing girls, and icebergs; Swing by Santa's E-mail (Garden Conservatory) and children can email Santa and even receive a personal e-mail to take home as a souvenir.

Winter Wonderland

Travel and explore the Winter Wonderland Area that includes the annual Treasures for the Holidays craft show featuring a variety of handmade and novelty gifts, jewelry, clothing, artwork, and food; Hall of Trees, a showcase of decorated trees; take a magical ride around on the magical Holiday Kids Train; and make sure to stop by and get your photo taken with Santa too.

Opryland's Gingerbread-Making Classes

Opryland's Gingerbread-Making Classes are part of their Annual "A Country Christmas" Celebration and are normally held in the Winter Wonderland Area where guests have a choice of decorating either a miniature gingerbread house ornament or a gingerbread man.

Opryland's Nativity Displays

Explore the four Nativities displayed at Opryland that features four different renditions of the biblical story of the birth of Christ.
The four Navitiy Scenes can be found at ICE! Nativity (Ice Exhibit), Living Nativity (Rockettes Show), Delta Garden Nativity (Delta Atrium) and the Outdoor Nativity situated on the hotels front lawn.

Holiday Criuses down the Cumberland

Take a holiday cruise (day or night) down the Cumberland River on the General Jackson Riverboat and enjoy plenty of live holiday music, tunes & entertainment along with a special feast that just might include a taste of Rudolph's turkey pot pie. Currently, there are two holiday cruises, Christmas on the Cumberland (evening) and Tim Watson's Tennessee Christmas (daytime) to choose from.
