Guide Review - Nashville's Old Spaghetti Factory Review

The Old Spaghetti Factory in Nashville is one of the oldest in the country and is located in one of the older warehouses on 2nd Avenue in downtown Nashville. The atmosphere is similar to the many other Old Spaghetti Factory's across the country, just filled to the brim with nostalgia that even includes a box car that you can dine in.

One of the best things about Old Spaghetti Factory is that you get your entire meal for a single price that includes entree, bread, soup or salad, drink, and dessert. Their prices range from $5 to $12. They also have children and senior menus available.
We went for lunch and had a 15 minute wait but since my companion for the day was a child, we had asked for special seating in the box car, of course.
My 9 year old companion immediately chose Macaroni and Cheese from the children's menu along with applesauce, and a soda pop and I ordered the Spinach & Cheese Ravioli as well as sweet tea and a garden salad.
While we both found our meals extremely good, we also found that the food service tended to be slower than expected. Our waiter was very attentive and had brought everything to us in a timely manner other than the entree so I feel that the extended wait was probably due to the kitchen staff.
For dessert, I opted for vanilla ice cream while my companion chose the spumoni ice cream. Needless to say, I ended up eating the spumoni and my young companion the vanilla.
