Wave Country, located in the Opryland/Music Valley Area, is currently only one of two Nashville wave-action pools and it normally opens for it's summer season on Memorial Day weekend which also traditionally marks the beginning of summer fun in Middle Tennessee and remains open through Labor Day Weekend.
This Popular Local Water Park generates waves that can be ridden, or enjoyed from the shallows as well as offering inflated floats which are free on a first come first served basis. As with most water park adventures, one can expect a break in the waves every fifteen minutes or so for safety reasons. Other activities include several water slides, concession stand, and a toddler water area.
