The Schermerhorn Symphony Center is an acoustical masterpiece built to house the Nashville Symphony, and named in honor of the late Maestro Kenneth Schermerhorn. The 197,000-square-foot neo-classical inspired Schermerhorn Symphony Center was designed by David M. Schwarz/ArchitecturalServices, Inc, Akustiks, and Fisher Dachs Associates and opened in September of 2006.
