Nashville Star Season Five Auditions

Nashville Star Season Five Auditions at the Wildhorse Saloon is done and over for the upcoming season but there were a few new changes.

New this year, at least at the Wildhorse Saloon, was the fact that access to the auditions was very limited.

Some people who came down to watch the second day's auditions weren't allowed into The Wildhorse until they opened for business at 11 a.m. We noticed also that even family members, who had the misfortune to step out of the club, were not being let back into it and meanwhile the one's who were still inside were being told to move as the staff were telling them that they needed the tables for their lunch crowd. While we understand their need to have tables available for the local lunch crowd, we don't understand why several of those who had made a special trip to watch the auditions, and who were attempting to order lunch as well, were unable to do so.

Needless to say it made for a very uncomfortable situation and we felt bad for those who didn't get an opportunity to see nor cheer on their favorite Nashville Star hopeful.

In prior years, the Wildhorse Saloon has always played host to the Nashville Regionals, which could've caused some concern with the recent lack of hospitality displayed at this venue, but alas, the Nashville Star Regionals will not be held at the Wildhorse Saloon this year, we assume, due to a scheduling conflict.

The Nashville Star Regionals are being held November 1st - 3rd at The Stage on Broadway. This season, set to air in January, promises to be another exciting one offering lots of great music and eventually producing another Nashville Star.
