Nashville Star Season 4 - Week 4

Chris Young rocked the house with Real Good Man. Phil Vassar said he's got a real shot to win this contest. Anastasia thought Chris was sexy, he set the bar high for the show and did Tim proud. Naomi Judd said she watches Nashville Star for 3 reasons Wynonna, Cowboy Troy and Chris Young. Told him "you da man!!"

Kristen McNamera belted out How Do I Live Without You which Phil thought was a good song choice and she did a great job. Anastasia thought she nailed it and was proud of her but wants her to pull back on her make up use. Naomi loves Kristen's timber and amazing voice. However she wants to take her clothes and make up shopping.

Great Balls Of Fire it's Casey Rivers but according to Naomi only rated great balls of luke warm. Anastasia was disappointed by his song choice and thinks he is the most talented in the contest. Phil agreed with the bad song choice.

Jared Ashley sang Gary Allan's It Would Be You. Personally I think he sounded too much like Gary Allan. Phil thinks his strength is in rock. Anastasia knows Casey is confident but thought he phoned in his performance and it did nothing for her. Naomi said he had good pitch but was to nasal sounding.

Matt Mason told us to Keep Your Hands To Yourself. Once again another wrong song choice for Phil Vassar but he has what it takes. Naomi thought it was his best song in the contest so far and likes his Dwight Yokam moves. Anastasia thought he did better than she expected.

Nicole Jamrose asked Are You Ready For A Thing Called Love? Phil said she was on a roll and picked the right song. Anastasia said she's the best female artist but wonders if she is strong enough to beat the men. Naomi Judd told Nicole to stick with the alternate country/folk song choices. She feels they chose the wrong female to leave the show and thinks that Kristen is the best female singer in the contest.
