From Garry:
"Even with the day-to-day pressure of the show, Chris finds the time to recognize and thank his friends and fans for their support and their comments. He's made it clear that he appreciates every CD, t-shirt, button, keychain and ball cap that a friend or fan has bought. After each show, he gets off the stage and signs autographs, poses for photos, and gives handshakes and hugs until they turn out the theater lights. If he goes somewhere afterward, the process is repeated until every fan is satisfied."

From Musician Tori:
I met Chris about 3 years ago, and we have shared many a stage since then. He's always ready to join a writer's night, or play for a fundraiser like he did for the Spring Hill (TN) Arts Center a couple of years ago. He's also ready to share his guitar (even his beloved Taylor, before the "accident" claimed it!) with anyone who happens to break a string, or just needs a guitar to play. All of this said, Chris is the kind of musician that doesn't have the sterotypical musician's ego, or the often common stage jitters.....far from it! He is so gracious, and so laid back when on stage he instantly makes everyone else feel at ease too. I respect him as a fellow musician and songwriter, but his songwriting truly is what makes him stand out. Many of us struggle, sometimes for months or years, for that one perfect song with that one perfect hook. Chris makes it look easy! And the results....well, they speak (or sing!) for themselves!

From Fan Terry Ann:
"I went to a staff meeting the other day, and they told me I looked like a proud mom," she said. "I told them I was; he's my boy. He's an all around nice boy with a great voice."

From Fan DJ:
Chris Young. Your first impression would probably be one of complete wonder and amazement at the incredible voice this singer/songwriter has been gifted with. Then you would notice the chemistry in his stage presence that draws you in as he performs. From the ballads you can feel in your soul, to the up tempo fun songs that make you want to dance, he is a dynamic, energetic, and emotive performer!
But to stop there would be to miss another whole side to Chris and one that has won him fans all across the country. Despite his incredible talent, Chris is one of the nicest, most genuine, and down-to-earth guys you could ever hope to meet. He sincerely appreciates every fan that attends his shows, buys his CD’s, and supports his efforts to bring his music to a wider audience.
He is one of those too seldom found, yet greatly adored by the fans, kind of stars – he will stand and sign autographs, pose for pictures, and talk to his fans way past the time most would have called “enough”. This is one of the ways in which he demonstrates with action what you will often hear him express in words – he loves his fans! In return, his fans love him!

From Songwriter Larry Wayne Clark:
Watching Chris Young's career unfold is an exciting thing.
He was 17 when we met and started writing together, and he was accomplished well beyond his years. Now he's 20 and it seems almost a foregone conclusion that he'll be a star (whether he becomes one on the USA Network is almost irrelevant). His voice is great, he writes with heart and authority, his focus is laser-keen and his ability to connect with his fans is astonishing. And of course they can't get enough of him. That's the element that completes the package and puts him over the top.
He's gonna be BIG!
