Lance Miller Live in Concert at Harley Holt

Lance Miller performed at the Harley Holt Bar on Broadway during CMAfest Week. This was the first full concert I've seen that included his band, Jackson Junction. I have known Lance for 2 years and have seen him perform whenever I am able to, he is one of my favorites, but I can honestly say I have never seen Lance look or sound as good as he did tonight.
Lance was totally awesome and mesmerizing. He introduced his band, Jackson Junction, and his fiddle player, Little Jack, totally stole the show several times with his fiddle solos. He used to play for Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton.

Lance played "George Jones and Jesus" and "Beer ain't just for breakfast anymore" twice. He played several of his heroes, Merle Haggard; songs along with some of his favorite cover tunes. There wasn't the crowd I was expecting, but by the middle of the night, it was standing room only. He introduced his co-writer, Mary Francis when he sang "Must Have Been from Texas" which is one of my personal favorites.
One of the gals in the audience, Carolyn, cancelled her Florida vacation in order to be in Nashville to see Lance. This is truly the dedication his fans gives this deserving young up and coming star. He had his cd's for sale. I've had mine for a year and it is still played as much now as when it was new. You can order your cd from www.LanceMiller.com.

At the end of the night, he sang for the first time in concert, my personal favorite Lance Miller song. "There will come a Day" That song was as mesmerizing in concert as it is on the cd. Thank you, Lance. Lance also allowed my friend from Las Vegas, Seth Turner, to sing couple songs. Seth is the Nashville Star 2 city winner from Las Vegas.
All in all, this was a night that I will not soon forget. Why Lance was not the winner of Nashville Star 2, I will never know. But I do know that Lance is a winner in everyone's eyes who hears him. Lance is truly one of the best people anyone could know and I feel honored to call him a friend.
