Question: County Tax Rates in Middle Tennessee
My husband and I will be relocating to the Nashville area within the year and trying to get the tax difference on housing, between Wilson, Sumner, Davidson and Williamson counties.
Answer: The 2006 base tax rates for these counties are:
-Wilson $2.4800
-Sumner $2.2800
-Davidson $4.0400
-http://nashville.about.com/od/williamsoncounty/qt/qgwilliamson.htm $2.3100
Remember that if you are within a city limit it will normally have an additional city tax rate too.
