Question: What are difference in the county tax rates in Middle Tennessee?

My husband and I will be relocating to the Nashville area within the year and trying to get the tax difference on housing, between Wilson, Sumner, Davidson and Williamson counties.

Answer: Hi, The 2006 base tax rates for these counties are:
-Wilson $2.4800
-Sumner $2.2800
-Davidson $4.0400
-Williamson $2.3100

Remember that if you are within a city limit it will normally have an additional city tax rate too.
You can keep up to date on these and the rest of Tennessee's Ratesonline at the TN comptrollers office of Property Assessments
