Chances are that if you live in Nashville that you will run into one of these fun-loving and sometimes furry fellas; They are some of Nashville's best, most liked, and well known mascots.

Ozzie has been entertaining and educating baseball fans of all ages in and out of Greer Stadium for nearly a decade. You can find Ozzie everywhere as this cat really gets around town. The Sounds (and Ozzie too) have an annual reading club that helps support local schools in their literacy programs as well as a Kids Club program for children of all ages that offers unique opportunities and loads of fun at the ballpark.

SnowBird

This feathered friend, known as SnowBird, spends most of his time watching and reporting the local weather on the WSMV television. This penguin has been reporting about school closings for over 25 years. He has, no doubt, made more appearances than any other mascot in Nashville.

Gnash is a frisky little fellow and a bit on the honorary side too. This fun-loving mascot suits the Predators fans just right and one can never be sure what stunt he will be doing next.

Shotgun Red

Shotgun Red was made most famous by his appearances on TNNs "Nashville Now" show hosted by Ralph Emery. He remained a part of the show for nearly a decade as well as being a regular on the Hee Haw show for just as long. This quick-witted country fellow is still going strong and tours the country on a regular basis.

T-Rac

T-Racs goofy and energetic antics made him the perfect fit for Nashville and the Tennessee Titans. Although his driving does need some improvement as he has been known to be a bit dangerous in a golf cart. He is appropriately named after Tennessee's official state animal, the raccoon.

Twiga

This long necked mascot has made the Nashville Zoo its home. Twiga, which simply means Giraffe in Swahili, seems to be on the shy and quiet side as most giraffes are.

Mr. Commodore

Swifty

Swifty is the Frist Center's mascot for all things family oriented. Swifty is a baby eagle and the idea for Swifty originated from the large eagles that are part of the architecture of the front of the Frist Center building.
