Sterling Marlin was born June 30, 1957 in Columbia, Tennessee (Maury County) is a NASCAR driver. He attended Spring Hill High School where he played basketball and football.
He is a 2nd generation NASCAR driver and son of former NASCAR driver Coo Coo Marlin. Sterling made his NASCAR debut in Nashville at the Nashville Speedway in 1976 when he filled in for his injured father and was a three time track champion at the Nashville Speedway now known as the Music City Motorplex, from 1980-82.
His career with NASCAR spans well over 3 decades. He is married to Paula and has two children, Sutherlin and Steadman.
