Bordeaux - Whites Creek Overview:

The Bordeaux - Whites Creek area is located in northwestern Davidson County. It’s borders run from the Cumberland River to Old Hickory Boulevard and on up Interstate 24 to the Cheatham County line, it as well borders the Cheatham County to the west down Highway 12.
The area is largely filled with older suburban development and rural land. The southwestern section of this subarea has historically had a high African American population while the north and northeastern section has typically had a high Caucasian population.

Frank James of the James Gang lived in the White's Creek area for several years and the White's Creek Historic District has over 20 places listed on the national register of historical places.
