The Country Music Association broadcast its 2nd Annual "CMA Country Christmas" in 2011. The CMA Country Christmas special was taped, in November, in front of a live audience at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Hosted by Jennifer Nettles, it featured wonderful holiday performances from some of Nashville's finest musicians including: Rascal Flatts, Vince Gill and Amy Grant, Lauren Alaina, Little Big Town, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Scotty McCreery, Brad Paisley, Sugarland, Darius Rucker, Keith Urban, Kellie Pickler, Brian Setzer, Miss Piggy, Storme Warren and more.

Songs performed this year included: Baby It’s Cold Outside - Winter Wonderland - All I Want for Christmas is You - White Christmas - It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year - The Little Drummer Boy - The Christmas Song - Santa Clause Is Back in Town - The First Noel - Silent Night - Sleigh Ride - Boogie Woogie Santa Claus - Jingle Bells
