If you're into more than just going to a Haunted House or Corn Maze this Halloween Season, never fear because there are plenty more places you can hope to catch a glimpse of your local ghost in Middle Tennessee.

  • Nashville Ghosts Tour
    Location: Downtown Nashville
    A lantern-bearing guide will lead you through the dark mysteries of Nashville's most recognizable and haunted landmarks this walking tour.

  • Haunted Museum
    Location: Downtown Nashville
    This fun and kid friendly annual ghost story festival at the Tennessee State Museum is filed with lots of fun for the entire family and it's free.

  • Sam Davis Home Ghost Tour
    Location: Murfreesboro
    Tour the grounds on a haunted hay ride before entering the historical home for a guided ghost tour. This event is not recommended for children under 10.

  • Hauntings at the Hermitage
    Location: Hermitage
    This annual event takes you through a tour of the haunted side of the Hermitage - some say that "Old Hickory" never left the Hermitage and you can, on occasion, still hear him making noise.



  • Gallatin City Cemetery Tour
    Location: Gallatin
    Tour the Gallatin City Cemetery by candlelight and listen to actors,in period clothing, tell the story of some of the most colorful characters buried in the cemetery.

  • Ghost & Gore Tour
    Location: Franklin
    This is one of Franklin on Foot's most well liked tours of the year. Located in Downtown Historic Franklin, this tour is not usually for the faint of heart but they also offer several other kid friendly tours.

  • Historic Cedar Grove Cemetery Tour
    Location: Lebanon
    Visitors will surely enjoy the stories as told by the "residents" of Historic Grove Cemetery on this candlelit tour.

  • Oaklands Mourning Customs Exhibit
    Location: Murfreesboro
    While this is more of an exhibit than a tour who wouldn't like learning about Victorian mourning customs in October especially when it's entitled: Headstones, Hearses, and Heartaches and at the Oaklands.

  • Haunted Historic Edgefield Home Tour
    Location: Edgefield
    The annual Home Tour in East Nashville’s Edgefield Neighborhood will showcase the architecture and charm of some of the neighborhood’s older homes. This year’s tour will also celebrate the neighborhood’s love of Halloween and the eerie.
