Our night had just begun so off to we went to catch the first of the Nightly Concerts at the Coliseum. Miss America, Ericka Dunlap led off with the National Anthem and dedicated it to Ray Charles. CMA Executive Director Ed Benson and Nashville Mayor Bill Purcell, spoke briefly welcoming everyone to the CMAfest. The crowd went wild with cheers, as they were also welcomed with a fly by formation of F/A Hornets.

Naturally Seven sang Amazing Grace followed up by Ronnie Milsap with America the Beautiful, this was the 2nd time in one day that we got to see Ronnie Milsap perform. Life is good. There were two stages set up every night and the artist performance would rotate from one stage to the other which shortened the wait time between artists tremendously, yet there was still time left for people get back into the photo line to catch more pictures of the next performance. Everyone loves the Photo line, which runs right in front of the stages. During the nightly show there are plenty of drink vendors walking around selling their goods, so no one would have to miss any part of the show. We were very impressed with their quick and polite service and not once during any our visits did we have to leave our seats for drinks.

Every evening a grand display of fireworks closed the show and this indicated that it was time for the After Hours Parties to begin in the Downtown District.
