CMAfest - A Day by Day look into the CMA Music Festival

While the official opening of the Country Music festival is a few more days away, one can find an event or two going on today so we mark our calendars every year to reflect this Monday as the unofficial opening of CMAfest. There are several events that normally take place today and they include the Global Artist Party & Darius Rucker & Friends Benefit.

We are still two days away from the official opening day of the CMAfest but there is plenty of events already going on throughout Nashville. The main events for today are 103 WKDF Beach Party, Country Weekly Fashion Show, Mow the Row, Grand Ole Opry, Opry Plaza Party & Nashville Navy.

Wednesday is CMA's unofficial official opening of the annual Country Music festival and it kicks off with, of course, the Kick-off Parade in downtown Nashville. Additional events for today include several fan club parties, Kick-Off Parade Concert, Marty Stuart's Late Night Jam, GAC Breakfast, CMT Awards, and Billy Yates Countriest of the Country Show.

Today is the Official Opening day of the CMAfest and when all of the main non-stop CMAfest Activities begin and includes the opening of the Daily Activity Zones, Exhibit Hall, and the Riverfront & Coliseum Concerts. Additional events include the IFCO Fun Fest and Hard Rock Songwriter Series.

By today, all of the 4-day daily and nightly CMA events are in full swing but there is still more to come as there's also several other events happening that include the Hard Rock Songwriter Series, Celebrity Total Outdoorsman Challenge, & Grand Ole Opry.

Saturday is definitely the busiest day of the CMAfest and along with the daily CMAfest events, it will also include the Leadership Music Yard Sale, Honkytonk Hitman's Indie Outlaw Show, Grand Ole Opry, Hard Rock Songwriter Series, and the wildly popular, City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge.

By today most folks are just plain exhausted, yet there's still another 24 hours of fun to endure before the CMAfest closes down for another year. Some of the additional events today, along with the normal CMAfest activities, include the Sunday Mornin' Country Show, Martina McBride Celebrity Auction.
