Derryl Perry is a new artist that made us sit up straight in our seats
and take an intense listen to. No doubt that this guy is someone to keep an eye on. He did a beautiful original he wrote "4 Days in Albuquerque" that was one of the diamonds
of the day. He stated that this is going to be his next single. This song is meant to be a
hit.
If you haven't seen Jimmy Wayne perform lately, you are in for a
shock!!! Jimmy has changed his stage
presence DRASTICALLY!!!! The Old has always worn
dark t-shirts and was kind of quiet and laid back but, the new Jimmy was
wearing a light colored flowered shirt and danced wildly throughout the
show.
Tons of blue paws being held up by his unofficial fan club "Pawsome Soldier"
members were everywhere.
Before his career took off, Jimmy's used to do
songwriters rounds in Nashville and even then had a good following of fans.
Jimmy started his show with "Stay Gone" and also did the
emotional "I Love You this Much". He ended with a song off his new cd,
"You Devil".
Lauren Lucas is a new artist that has more of a southern rock style. Her first
song was "You Ain't Gonna Get". She did a nice rendition of the old
Dolly Parton hit "2 Doors Down".Bryan White, next on stage, is coming out with a new cd. The young girls still swoon
over him and he does have a good stage presence. He included in his
set "Love Is The Right Place", "Rebecca Lynn", "My Heart Sitting On
Go". He did a new song from the cd "Little Things", and finished with
"So Much for Pretending".
Hot Apple Pie is a new band that is fronted by Brady Seals, formerly
from Little Texas". They are a mix of bluegrass, country, and rock.
They are so different and unique that we expect this group to make a few upcoming marks on music row. Their harmonies are close, along with being
excellent musicians. This is group filled with an overload of talent. They
performed their new single "Hillbillies Loving In The Hay".
