Nashville's 4th of July festival is held annually at the downtown Riverfront Park. This annual event is a spectacular sight to be seen and is one of our must see and do family events of the year.

Insider Information:
  • Get To The Event As Early As Possible
This is a must to be able to get a great seat and it also helps to avoid any parking problems or related parking issues in the downtown Nashville area. So make sure find a legal parking spot as tickets are easy to come by during big events in the downtown area, never park in a pay lot that won't accept your money properly and give you a receipt as you will most likely be ticketed. Another good rule of thumb is to keep your parking receipt for the next month after the event just in case a ticket does show up in your mailbox.

  • Check Out the Afternoon Sound Check
An afternoon sound check will normally start at about noon and can be just as enjoyable as the nightly show. One can get a good idea of what the nightly show will bring and even learn a few of their words and lyrics beforehand. You can also learn, at this time, about any last minute artist changes and/or cancellations.

  • Bottom Line
While the artists change for every year's show we've always found it to be very impressive and entertaining. Overall the Nashville 4th of July show was worth every minute of 13 hours we spent on Nashville's riverfront in Riverfront Park.
