Nolensville Feed Mill

The Nolensville Feed Mill is one of the oldest businesses, if not the oldest in Williamson County and has been in business for well over 100 years. Currently the Nolensville Feed Mill is doing business as an antique store, which may sound a little dreary for those of us who aren't in the mood to go searching to purchase some old collectibles anytime soon. They also showcase and offer several other items from local artisans like handmade jewelry, paintings, and even a few sculptures but as you will see, this is not a normal run of the mill antique store to say the least.

First off, this historic old feed mill has been restored and it also has a year-round free exhibit that highlights the historical past of the city of Nolensville as well as several other glimpses of the Nolensville of yesteryear. The exhibit will thrill history buffs and now get this - it's totally free and open to the public.

If all of that's not just not enough for you day-trippers, they also off plenty of great homemade goodies to buy & eat that includes everything from Brittle and Pickles to Chocolate Covered Blueberries & Sponge Candy.

But there's more to this story because you see, the owner, Darin Scheff is also a musician. Actually he's just not any local yokel musician, he's the son of the famous base player, Jerry Scheff who played for greats such as Elvis Presley, The Doors, John Denver, Bob Dylan, and Tom Petty to name just a few. He is also the younger brother to Jason Scheff who sings and plays bass in the band "Chicago"

So with all the entire family, pretty much involved with music in some form or fashion one can also expect it to flow right into this ole feed mill and it does as you will see singers and songwriters coming in from time to time playing on the front porch, in the loft or even by the creek in the back. These pickin' & grinnin' sessions are also free & open to the public too!

Overall, the Nolensville Feed Mill covers all of the bases (no pun intended) and is a great place to visit, hang-out or have fun anytime of the year. We expect that, in time, the Nolensville Feed Mill will become one of the hottest songwriter venues around town.

The Nolensville Feed Mill is Located in Nolensville, TN at 7280 Nolensville Road.
