Less than two years after the infamous East Tennessee moonshiner Popcorn Sutton passed away in 2008, his legacy has being carried on in 2010 with the launch of Popcorn Sutton's Tennessee White Whiskey in Nashville at the Marathon Motor Works.

Before Popcorn passed away he passed his recipe along to with his friend and former professional motorcycle racer, Jamey Grosser who, with the support of a few famous folks, including Hank Williams Jr. as well as the knowledge of a few helpful Whiskey Distillers, has been able to preserve the legacy of Popcorn Sutton in the form of a bottle.

Popcorn Sutton's Tennessee White Whiskey is the first “white whiskey” to be approved by the federal government and is now being produced by J&M Concepts in an undisclosed location near Nashville.

Currently, Popcorn Sutton's Tennessee White Whiskey is available in local Middle Tennessee bars.
