CMAfest Review from Nashville.about.com

CMAfest showcases Great Musicians

By Jan Duke, About.com

Next,I swung by theKicktone's Country Tailgate Party to catch part of their show and then off I went down to the to Roberts Western Wear, for a brief stop to take a few pictures of Jamey Garners performance and then on down to the Greased Lightning Riverfront Stages to catch up with some friends and watch the afternoon shows, which included an awesome set by John Arthur Martinez. Right when Gretchen Wilson was about to take the stage, Nashville was drenched by an afternoon thunderstorm. The show was postponed until the storm had passed. So we headed over to the Hard Rock Café to have a late lunch. After lunch, the weather still hadn't cleared up so I said my goodbyes and headed home to get rejuvenated for tonight's Coliseum Show by taking an afternoon siesta.

Day 7- Sunday June 13th
Sunday Morning I headed downtown for brunch at the Pinnacle, a rotating restaurant, located at the top of the Sheraton Hotel. The service at the Pinnacle is always impeccable as is their scrupulous brunch buffet and they offer a breathtaking view of Nashville.
I then headed down the street for my last visit to the Wrangler Exhibit hall, after browsing thru the exhibit hall for a bit, I headed on down to the Greased Lightning Riverfront Shows for the day.

*Editor's Note:I hope everyone who visited my Music City home, enjoyed themselves and much as we enjoyed welcoming and endearing visitors to our city of Nashville. In closing, I shall quote one of my favorite ole time southern goodbyes … Ya'll come back, now!
I'd like to extend my deepest thanks to my writers, Lisa and Michelle for the time and effort that they gave so selflessly this week. Thanks Gals for the smiles and hard work I couldn't have done it without you and also send a special thanks to my husband for the contribution of his wonderful photography skills and for totally covering the homeplace, this week.
