This also meant missing tonight's Nightly Coliseum show, but never fear I did get a complete update on the show later that evening from a dear friend, who's attended fanfair every year for close to 20 years. She did let me know that I had missed an awesome show and taunted me with the fact that I missed Gretchen Wilson taking the stage on a four-wheeler and an after-show appearance and performance of Montgomery Gentry at one of the Honky-Tonks on Broadway.
So off to the French Quarter Café I went to enjoy a songwriter's night with friends. Tori had gathered an incredible list of talented songwriter's and performers, I was impressed with this and also amazed that I knew many of them as friends. The line-up included

They played to a full house and all of the entertainers joked around with the audience and even accommodated special song request. This songwriters round ended way to early for me.

Day 6- Saturday June 12
Saturday was definitely going to be the busiest day of the CMAfest, but I encountered two small problems; my children, it seems that they wanted to go to "work" with Mom. So I enlisted the help of my husband and guided them all to the Bush's Baked Beans Family Zone and left proper Mommy instructions for them to attend the Midway Carnival afterwards.I did get a recap of the previous days outing on Sunday morning.
