Annual IFCO Benefit Photos
Music City has done it again. The annual IFCO show took over the Ryman for an evening filled of great music and incredible talent.
Joe Tinoco kicked off the show. Joe is an Olathe, KS native who now resides in Nashville. Joe has played the Grand Ole Opry with Porter Wagoner. Joe can also be seen playing in Branson, MO.
Texas native Todd Fritsch an independent artist followed Joe. This young man is an up and comer already nominated for 6 European Country Music Awards. You may recognize his single as the Eddie Raven remake of I've Got Mexico.
You can't mention country music without mentioning Con Hunley. Some of Con's songs include Georgia On My Mind, If You Ever Have Forever In Mind, and You Lay A Whole Lot Of Love On Me just to mention a few. Con also sang a single from his new CD entitled I Can't Make It Alone.
One of the highlights of the night included a performance from a young and very talented individual, Megan Mullins, and at the young age of 19 she has the world on a string. She began playing fiddle at the age of 18 months and hasn't looked back. Signed to Broken Bow records Megan's first single Ain't What It Used To Be is making it's way up the charts. You may also remember seeing Megan as the fiddle player in the Nashville Star band.
Speaking of Nashville Star, another familiar face is showing up all over Nashville during CMA Fest. Chris Young joined the other artists for the IFCO show. Chris played a song that you may remember from Nashville Star that he said is going to hopefully be his first single. Drinking Me Lonely is an original Chris Young song that shows off his amazing voice.
Andy Griggs who sings You Won't Ever Be Lonely, and She's More, Steve Azar, Rachel Proctor and Hot Apple Pie who sang their hit Hillbillies also joined the line-up.
The feature act for the night was a group of individuals who you have undoubtedly heard on the radio with their hits Boondocks and Bring It On Home. Little Big Town got their start six years ago and I'm sure they will be around for a long time!!
The headliner for the night and rightly so was The Oak Ridge Boys. There aren't many people who don't know the Oak Ridge Boys are. Their hit songs Elvira, Bobbie Sue, American Made and many others have made the Oak Ridge Boys almost as common a name as Elvis. These guys can still bring the house down with their powerful vocals and unbelievable talent. One of the highlights was the 4 man group singing Amazing Grace. It just sent chills down your spine.
Other artists performing that night included The Alvarado Road Show, Rustie Blue and Karen Taylor-Good. Thank you to everyone who organizes the IFCO annual benefit show for bringing us another great year of great fun and incredible performances.
