12/19-12/21 Christmas with Amy Grant & Vince Gill

The Christmas event of the season! Amy Grant and Vince Gill will light the Schermerhorn with cheer and goodwill when they perform their beloved holiday show with the Nashville Symphony. Come celebrate with classic tunes, gospel hymns and a joyous night of great music!

12/20 All Through the House: An 1820s Christmas

Come see Christmas in the making. The 1820s were a transitional time for the holiday. Some of the traditions we take for granted today were not around yet, and many of the customs of the past have long since died out. Find out what it was like before the Christmas tree became part of the celebration. Visitors will take a candlelit tour of the historic house and interact with guests and members of the Overton household, who will tell about what the holiday meant to them.

12/21 Santa Saturday

Santa will be stopping by to take pictures with families who want one final photo before he heads to the North Pole to prepare for his Christmas Eve deliveries! Santa will be available from 10 am to 2 pm and will take photos, free of charge, with anyone who stops by with a camera in hand (BYOC = Bring Your Own Camera). So grab family and friends, and your camera, and head on over. There is plenty of parking. In addition to the Santa photos there will be holiday-themed activities for the kids and refreshments available for purchase which will include tasty biscuit-based snacks and a made-from-scratch hot chocolate and coffee bar where you can make your own tasty hot beverages incorporating delicious items such as shredded chocolate, whipped cream, peppermint sticks, marshmallows and many other yummy additions. For adults, libations such as Whisper Creek (which can also be a tasty addition to coffee or hot chocolate), beer and wine will be available for purchase. The Loveless Cafe, Hams & Jams Market and the Lil’ Biscuits Shop as well as the other specialty retailers located in the Loveless Cafe retail spaces will be open regular hours to help all holiday shoppers make last-minute, unique, gift or dessert purchases! 12/22 Holiday Music Experience with KEM & Friends

A Holiday Music Experience with KEM & Friends Sunday, December 22, at 7 p.m. Presented without orchestra Celebrate the season and spend a very special evening with R&B superstar KEM when he performs at the Schermerhorn for the first time! Born in Nashville, this phenomenal singer-songwriter-producer burst onto the scene a decade ago when Motown Records released his debut album KEMISTRY. His spiritual and soulful sounds will bring the house down when he performs music from his holiday album What Christmas Means.

From the bonny shores of England comes a stuffy old travelling troupe embarking on their fifteenth annual farewell tour of the Dickens' tale. The company diva pretends to be ill, certain the production will be cancelled. However, much to her shock and rage, the show does go on without her! Roles are shuffled at the last minute and the understudy finds herself center stage. Mayhem ensues as this professional company scrambles to keep the show going and everything that could possibly go wrong does…to hilarious, ridiculous results!

Ralphie pleads his case before his mother, his teacher, and even Santa Claus himself at Goldblatt's Department Store.

A Classic Christmas Dinner Show

The Nashville Palace Presented by Robert's Western World presents "A Classic Christmas" Dinner Show featuring your favorite holiday melodies served up with a taste of home. Enjoy an evening of great food while you listen to Christmas classics like "Winter Wonderland," "Silent Night," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Little Drummer Boy" and more, performed by Nashville's best ensemble cast and a LIVE 5-piece band. Nashville's top singers and musicians come together on stage for "A Classic Christmas" at the Nashville Palace. The show will run from December 12th to December 28th, with afternoon matinees on Saturdays and Sundays, and dinner shows on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
