On November 15, 2011 Music City on Stage! becomes Music City Christmas!, a special Holiday dinner show overflowing with the melodies, flavors and traditions of a beautiful Southern Christmas in Music City! Starts - November 15 - Runs every day but Monday - not Thanksgiving or Christmas day - ends January 1st

Nashville Nutcracker

One of Nashville's newest holiday traditions, Nashville's Nutcracker, will return to the TPAC's Jackson Hall stage December 9-18 with new surprises to accompany its beloved characters and story set in 1897 Nashville at the Centennial Exposition. Nashville's Nutcracker will be held at TPAC's Jackson Hall for 10 performances: Friday, December 9 at 7 pm. Saturday, December 10 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, December 11 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday, December 16 at 7 p.m. Saturday, December 17 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, December 18 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Come ride with Santa on Tennessee Central Railway Museum’s Santa Express excursion train to Lebanon! Santa will be on board the train so be sure to bring your cameras! And, be sure to bring letters to Santa and mail them at Santa Post Office during our layover in Watertown! Order your tickets soon as this trip will sell out quickly!

The Nutcracker

As the holidays draw closer, DTT will delight audiences throughout Middle Tennessee with its charming full version tour of “The Nutcracker”. Children and adults alike will enjoy this timeless classic as Dance Theatre of Tennessee brings this beautiful production to a city near you.

Oliver!

Nothing is as thrilling on the stage as a well-crafted tale, and Oliver! is just such a show. Based on the Dickens novel, it engages with its pathos and drama, while delighting everyone with the musical numbers. November 17 - December 23, 2011

Santa's Reindeer Tour

Santa's Reindeer Tour, based at the 100-acre Strickland Place farms in White House, has four reindeer - Comet, Holly, Prancer and Snowflake - available for appearances at events or for display at retail stores within a 200-mile radius. It's the only farm of its kind in the Nashville area, and Santa's Reindeer Tour is among only a handful of such companies in Tennessee. The reindeer will be at The Streets of Indian Lake shopping center in Hendersonville Dec. 14-23 from 2 to 7 p.m.

Santa Saturdays

There's a new place in town to go and get your photograph made with Santa: Cheekwood! Beginning November 26 and running every Saturday through December 17 Santa will be in a custom designed and built workshop at Cheekwood. Children will be able to visit with Santa and will leave with a 5 x 7 professional photo souvenir. The cost to visit Santa is $10 and visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase additional photos. Santa will be in his workshop from 10 am until 2 pm with the exception of November 26 when he will be available from 12 pm to 3 pm. During those same times, families will also have the opportunity to do hands-on art activities in Cheekwood's art studios or they can choose to decorate a cookie with icing and many different sprinkles. All of these activities will happen in Cheekwood's Frist Learning Center.

Santa’s Wonderland

Every weekend beginning mid-November through the 3rd week of December at Bass Pro Shops Santa’s Wonderland, shoppers can introduce their children to time-honored traditions of making crafts and holiday ornaments. Kids will have fun making moose ornaments, reindeer cone ornaments, Santa bobbers, reindeer hats, candy cane reindeer and Christmas cookies.
