Listed below are some of the best Holiday Lights and Wondrous Displays that Nashville and the Middle Tennessee have to offer during the Christmas Season. These annual sparkling, twinkling displays, all in celebration of the Christmas Holidays, are enough to keep you coming back for more and year after year.

Chad's Winter Wonderland

For decades, Chad Barnard has been putting up one of the nation's largest Christmas light displays. Known as Chad's Winter Wonderland, visitors can take in more than 2 million lights at this incredible eight acre drive through holiday light display.

Christmas on the Cumberland

Over one million Christmas Lights are on display in the city of Clarksville's festival of lights at McGregor Park. The Montgomery County Park's RiverWalk is decorated with several holiday light displays, including giant toy soldiers, animated toys, and a tunnel of lights. Every Year, this event attracts over 10,000 people. No Admission Charge.

Christmas Wonderland

This Music Valley drive thru, fully-computerized LED light and music show is a one-of-a-kind experience from Shadrack. Enjoy hundreds of thousands of energy-saving LED lights performing in perfect synchronization with the fantastic holiday tunes either by automobile or by horse-drawn carriage at Jellystone Park. Guests can also enjoy Santa's Village, photos with Santa, Hey, Hey, Hey Rides with Yogi Bear, an open fire complete with smores, hot dogs, hot cocoa, and more.

Festival of lights

Festival of lights is a scenic driving tour through the James E. Ward Agricultural Center. Visitors get to view numerous lighted displays celebrating the Christmas season.

Laser Holidays

Get in the holiday spirit with a fun, family laser show in the Sudekum Planetarium. Laser Holidays features brilliant laser animation and thousands of stars performing to music in celebration of the winter season.

Gill’s Bright Lights

As a previous Holiday Lights Competition winner, Gill’s Bright Lights offers synchronized 50,000 lights, over a dozen or so Christmas trees, and one mega tree. Remember to bring a canned food donation too as it goes to benefit Second Harvest. The donation bin is normally located at the front of the Mega Tree by the driveway.

Lights on Old Charlotte

Nearly a decade old, Lights on Old Charlotte is Located in Franklin, Tennessee and offers a computerized Christmas display with, at last count over, 65,000 Lights, 144 Channels of Light-O-Rama Computer Control, and 21 Channels of DMX Control. The show is broadcasted over a Low-Power FM Transmitter that can be heard on 89.9FM.

Lipton Lights

This impressive Franklin light show began in 2008 and has entertained locals every year since. The Lipton Light show, which offers thousands of lights, is choreographed to music and broadcast on a local FM radio channel so you can watch and listen to the synchronized show right from your car. But make sure to make a quick stop because the folks running the annual Lipton Light show also accept donations which go directly to benefit Happy Tales.

Nashville Christmas Parade

For over 50 years, the Rudolph's Red Nose Christmas Parade has taken place in downtown Nashville. The parade of more than 100 floats, bands, and clowns. No Admission Charge.
