Santa and Mrs. Clause came early to Nashville this year with the annual Christmas For Kids concert held at the Ryman Auditorium. Santa and Mrs. Clause were on hand and making their lists of who has been naughty and nice. Jim Day and Kerri D from 95.5 The Wolf were the emcees for the night along with Debbie Lamberson the Christmas For Kids President.

Several performers treated the audience to a night of music. Daryle Singletary who has hits including I Let Her Lie, Amen Kind Of Love and Too Much Fun kicked off the show. Daryle was joined on stage after his performance by his niece and nephew.

Craig Morgan followed Daryle with a few of his more popular songs including Redneck Yacht Club, and his current single Little Bit Of Life. Joe Nichols took the stage after posing for a few photos with Craig and performed a few of his hits also. The one song that seemed to have all the women going crazy was Joe's popular single Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off. The audience especially the women seemed to enjoy that song most as Joe knelt down by the edge of the stage to shake a few hands and pose for pictures.

What can you say about the next performer except "wow". Every year Charlie Daniels is one of the firsts to sign up as a performer for the annual concert. Charlie did not disappoint the audience again this year. Charlie Daniels as you already know is a phenomenal fiddle player and he just seems to get better every time he plays. Surprisingly Charlie did not play his most popular hit The Devil Went Down To Georgia. He did keep the crowd rocking through his set and finished with Rocky Top.

Phil Vassar is another performer who if you have never seen in concert you are truly missing out. Phil brought his mother with him this year to the concert and she even sat on Santa's lap after Phil was done performing. Phil performed a few of his hits including Six Pack Summer, In A Real Life and My Next Thirty Years. Phil even had his photo taken with Santa and Mrs. Clause before leaving the Ryman.

Last but not least for the night Sawyer Brown took center stage and treated the audience to a high-energy performance. I have to say it was hard to snap some shots of Mark Miller because he doesn't stand still very long. Sawyer Brown has been kind of out of the music loop for a short while but their fans are still loyal and going strong. They had the crowd singing along especially with Mission Temple Fireworks Stand from their 2005 CD titled the same.

What a great night of music to help support a great cause. Every year for the concert the artists donate their time they are not paid to perform. The concert will prove to be a great success for years to come. With ticket prices so low for such a great event you can't go wrong. Don't forget to mark your calendars for the tour bus show being held at the Hendersonville Super Wal-Mart!!
