From Thanksgiving until New Year's Eve, Nashville offers tons of festive opportunities during the Holiday Season. There is an unlimited supply of Holiday and Christmas Events and Happenings for everyone to enjoy during the holiday season.

Come look (photos), see, and explore a list of Holiday fun that we've gathered up that's sure to please, from Art to Music it's a whole month of holiday fun for the entire family to have a great Nashville Christmas.

November 14th
Christmas Village
Kick off the season with Christmas Village. This event began in 1961 and is recognized as one of the best events of it's kind in the southeast.This annual event is set open to the public Friday, Nov. 14th – Sunday, Nov. 16th at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds. Visitors can expect over 250 merchants from across the country.

November 15th
Opryland Country Christmas
A Nashville Christmas just isn't complete without a stroll through the Opryland Hotel. Its wondrous Holiday displays are on exhibit from November into January. "A Country Christmas" includes the viewing their spectacular holiday lights, strolling through the Outdoor Nativity Display, Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, ICE! or taking a General Jackson Holiday Cruise to browsing thru the Treasures for the Holidays Craft Show. It's an entire month of non-stop holiday fun beginning mid-November and lasting until the first week of January!

November 19th
Nashville Flea Market
Don't forget the Nashville Flea Market will be at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds this weekend and will be full of great holiday treats.

November 20th
Tis the Season Holiday Marketplace
Tis the Season Holiday Marketplace takes place from November 20-22 at The Factory at Franklin and offers 26,000 square feet of the best in holiday shopping.

November 21st
Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge
This Towne Centre Theatre production will send you on a ton of hysiterical twists and turns with all of your favorites from theis Dicken's Classic. The show runs from today through December 13th.

November 22nd
Giving Thanks Together
Get ready to give thanks Nashville and make plans to join churches from across the city tommorrow in giving thanks for God's constant faithfulness! Bring your entire family and kick off your Thanksgiving week with the Giving Thanks Together Citywide Thanksgiving Service. This event is free.

November 23rd
Happy Holidays Remembered
The Nashville Public Library presents Happy Holidays Remembered to celebrate the holiday season. This exhibit is open from November 23rd through January 11th.

November 24th
Christmas for Kids
Christmas for Kids is an annual two-day event that includes the Christmas for Kids concert at the Ryman plus an opportunity for the public to tour the buses of some of their favorite country music stars at the Wal-Mart in Hendersonville and it's all for a good cause.

November 25th
- A Universal Christmas
The Nashville Early Music 27-member ensemble presents music of the Medieval and Renaissance periods, as well as traditional folk music from more than ten different world cultures at the Christ Church Cathedral
- Christmas on the Cumberland
Christmas on the Cumberland transforms the McGregor Park RiverWalk into a winter wonderland. This magical stroll opens today and runs through New Year's Day.

November 26th
A Tuna Christmas
Join in on the comedy and hysterics as the Renaissance Center entertains you with A Tuna Christmas. Show opens on November 7th and runs through December 19th. Make sure to visit their site for plenty more holiday cheer.

November 27th
- The Santaland Diaries
The Santaland Diaries is one of Tennessee Rep's most requested holiday productions and tells the tale of a slacker who decides to become a Macy's elf during the seasonal crunch. This hilarious one-man show runs fron November 28th through December 20th in the Andrew Johnson Theater.
- Thanksgiving Dining
If you’re planning on going out to dinner this Thanksgiving instead of entertaining at home, we’ve found several places in Nashville that are open and serve up Thanksgiving Dinner from those who offer a bountiful feast to last minute meals.

November 28th
- Black Friday
Known as the busiest shopping day of the year, Black Friday is also one of the best days to get great deals too.
- Orchestra Nashville Thanksgiving Concert
This annual performance held at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center features the amazing Orchestra Nashville Thanksgiving Chorus along with a few of thier favorite local musicians.

November 29th
North Pole Express
North Pole Express Excursion Train rides into the Tennessee Central Railway Museum bringing Santa along too. Check their website for schedule and additional excursion dates. Tickets go faster that the North Pole Express!

November 30th
Holiday Decorating at Travellers Rest
Everyone has the opportunity to participate in making wreaths and decorations in the style of the early 1800's at this Overton Home. Visitors can join in the more holiday celebrations at Travellers Rest during the entire month of December.
