"Celebrate Nashville" as Nashville's government, neighborhoods, organizations, and community groups host a nine month long series of festivities and events commemorating the 200th anniversary of Nashville's government charter.
"Celebrate Nashville" will be celebrating and highlighting, some of the things, that make Nashville unique and special. The Celebrate Nashville Campaign runs from October 1st, 2006 through July 4th, 2007 and will focus on a different theme each month.

-Hidden Histories
Join the Downtown Nashville Public Library as they feature Hidden Histories: The Lives of Women in Nineteenth Century Nashville A photographic display, located in the courtyard gallery, that tells the stories of everyday women who lived in Nashville more than 100 years ago.
This free exhibition opens on March 30th and will be on display until June 15th.
