Boudleaux Bryant of Felice & Boudleaux Bryant died in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1987 at the age of 67.

June 26th
Kay Johnson, cofounder of the IFCO was born on June 26th, 1944.

June 27th
-The Groundbreaking for the Bicentennial Mall Park took place on June 27th, 1994.
-Nashville's 1st Board of Health was established June 27th, 1866.

June 28th
On June 28th of 1850 the first horse and buggy crossed over the Cumberland River by way of Nashville's newest suspension bridge.

June 29th
Andrea Leah Plummer, of Tennessee, crowned 39th America's Junior Miss on June 29th, 1996.

June 30th
Chet Atkins dies of cancer in Nashville on June 30th, 2001.

July 1st
-Statewide prohibition became the issue in the Democratic primary of 1908 with Governor Patterson, who opposed the movement and favored local option, receiving the nomination over Edward W. Carmack. The following year Tennessee became a dry state.
-Adelphi Theatre was opened July 1st, 1850.
