June 11th
Charlotte Robertson, known fondly as Nashville's first Lady dies on June 11th, 1843.

June 12th
On June 12 1883, A City motion was passed, with a vote of ten to four, on a bill providing for the lighting of the streets of Nashville.

June 13th
Nashville Socialite, Dudley, Guilford, Jr. died in Nashville on June 13, 2002. Mr. Dudley was the former President of Life & Casualty Insurance Company and former U.S. Ambassador to Denmark.

June 14th
In 1968 Ernest V. Stoneman, age 75, died in Nashville, Tennessee.

June 15th
-Former President of the United States, James K. Polk dies of cholera in Nashville on June 15, 1849.
-Rachel Donelson Jackson, future wife of the 7th President of the United States, Andrew Jackson, was born on June 15, 1767.

June 16th
Vanderbilt Purchases the land for Dudley Field on June 16th, 1906.

June 17th
Work on the Tennessee and Pacific Railroad started June 17th, 1869.
