Founded in 2006, the Nashville Roller Girls are local all-female flat track roller derby league. This hard hitting group of skaters normally packs in the crowd at the Municipal Auditorium.
Nashville Songwriter's Festival
Nashville Songwriter's Festival is held the first week of June and offers Writers from all over America, Canada and elsewhere a place to gather and share their talents. The festival is open to all forms of songwriting. Event activities include three days of songwriter performances and a three day Writers Retreat.

Second Saturday Book Sale
Shakespeare Allowed
Several times every month, Nashville Shakespeare Festival gathers to read one of the works of William Shakespeare. Normally, the readings are held at the Nashville Public Library on the first Saturday of the month (sometimes even the 2nd too) and readings at the Brentwood Library are generally held on the third Saturday.
