Over the last few months we have toured these delightful Nashville Diners with great Southern recipes, here is what we've found, listed randomly:
  1. Monells
A family style meal served in a refurbished old Nashville Victorian home, where the food is passed around the table, which seats about a dozen people. The weekend brunch is wonderful and the fried chicken is among the best in the south.
    1235 6th Ave N.
    Nashville ,TN 37208

  2. The Loveless Café
A beautiful country drive to one of Tennessees most famous diners, located in a quaint, old stone cafe with an unpretentious atmosphere that will bring back sweet memories of the early days of Nashville Tennessee.
    8400 Highway 100
    Nashville , TN 37221
    Phone: (615) 646-9700

  3. The White Trash Café
This new diner, located near the Nashville fairgrounds is quickly gaining in popularity and is bound to make history in Nashville, with its trashy décor, interesting employees and great down home cooked food with an attitude.
    1914 Bransford Ave
    Nashville, TN 37204
    Phone: (615) 383-0109

  4. Elliston Place Soda Shop
The Elliston Place Soda Shop is an original soda shop, in its 60-year Nashville history; little has changed within its walls. As soon as you walk through the door, you feel like you've returned to the 1950's era, with its vintage décor from the chrome vinyl chairs and right down to the tabletop jukeboxes. A step back into the day's simpler times of days past, it is truly an experience worth experiencing and sharing with all. The chocolate shakes are a delightful sinful treat, not to be missed when visiting Elliston Place.
    2111 Elliston Place
    Nashville , TN 37203
    Phone: (615) 327-1090
