Contestants from the hit reality Nashville Star were host to a block party benefiting St. Judes Children's Research Hospital. Despite the unseasonable cold and damp weather the Benefit was a huge success.
The concert was kicked off by John Arthur Martinez, 2nd place winner of the series 1st show, and was followed by; Gregory Delang, Amy Chappell, Anne Louie Blythe, Matt Lindahl, George Canyon, Jennifer Hicks, Lance Miller, Brad Cotter, Marty Slayton, Brent Keith, Brandi Gibson and Brandon Silvera, all of which are current or former Nashville Star contestants.
Fans of the show got to have their pictures taken with the Nashville Star contestants, as well the privilege of to talking and mingling with them for several hours.

A breakfast cooked by current contestant, Matt Lindahl, along with front row tickets to the show and a guitar singed by Willie Nelson.

There were also dozens of signed CD's signed by various Country Music Artists and even a pair of Cowboy boots worn by Emmylou Harris, size 6 ½.
If you weren't into Auctions, there were plenty of other items being sold such as Nashville Star Group Pictures, Nashville Star Beverage Holders, and Nashville Star Tee Shirts, all of which were singed by the current seasons contestants. They were also taking donations for guided tours of the Nashville Star home, all guided by some of this years current Nashville Star Contestants.
For those who had worked up an appetite while enjoying all of the fun activities, there were several tents sent up offering a variety of food and this even included one of Tennessee's favorite snacks, Goo-Goo Clusters.
