To all the contestants, from the local area competitions right on through to the Grand Finale. Thank you for the hours of listening pleasure you have provided from music clips on websites, independent CDs, and performances at all levels of the competition. The depth and range of talent you have shared with us, your audience, has been inspiring.

To all the family and friends of the contestants, who have supported their artist through thick and thin. Please don't ever lose sight of the fact that for every one rude or hurtful comment you have been exposed to, there are thousands of people that have respect and admiration for your favorite artist.

To the judges of the show who have a tough job in attempting to fit their remarks into a short time and to face constant criticism from fans who may or may not agree with your comments.

To the producers of the show for bringing us another season of a fantastic show.

To Nancy O'Dell for hosting the show with grace and compassion to those eliminated.
