Week 7 - Nashville Star 2 - April 17, 2004 " Duets Week" A play by play recap of episode 7.

This week, 4 of the 5 remaining Nashville Star contestants performed a song of their choice and also sang duet's with this week's special guest stars, Terri Clark and Trace Adkins! At the end of the hour, America will again be asked to vote for their favorite performer of the evening. The contestant, who received the fewest number of votes after last week's show, will be sent home in the middle of the show.

Hot spot:
This week's Nashville Star Hot Spot was the contestants' visit to the St Jude Children's Research Hospital, founded by Danny Thomas, in Memphis and then, later in the week, hold a fundraiser for St. Jude in Nashville at the Nashville Star House.
Despite the unseasonable cold and damp weather the Benefit was a huge success. . In attendance were contestants from both seasons of the Nashville Star Series.

Special Guest's Terri Clark and Trace Adkins
Opening the show are the remaining contestants taking the stage with "Put Some Drive in Your Country."
Hostess Nancy O'Dell, will once again, read the names of the finalists that will perform tonight.

Performing first will be Brad Cotter.
