In our Nashville Star Season Two Review of week Six, five of the six remaining contestants performed a southern rock classic of their choice in the sixth week. The contestant, who received the fewest number of votes after last week's show, will be sent home at the end of the show.

Hot spot:
This week's Hot Spot was the Nashville Star 2 contestants visit to the Imus Show in New York.
Imus is said to be a great fan of Country Music but his on-air associates definitely weren't. The entire show staff was very demeaning and disrespectful to the Nashville Star contestants and fans of country music as well.

Imus was the only one who came close to being respectful. His colleagues brought up some of the following subjects to the contestants.

Meth Labs- Lance
Just getting off the tractor-Matt
The Partridge Family, being too Pretty-Brent
Caressing the guitar, her divorce issues-Jennifer

An Award should be given to Brent, who responded to a question from them about the contestants doing a "ridiculous" challenge every week-his response was "We're here aren't we".
Thank You Brent and Thank Goodness I live in Tennessee!

On to tonight's live show:
Special Guest's Lynyrd Skynyrd opened the show with "Sweet Home Alabama".

First contestant called is Matt Lindahl.
