Seventh performer - Lance Miller.

Lance showed me he was more confident and relaxed tonight. Here are the judges remarks:
  • Tracy: You know there is a great line in a song; 'you got to dance like nobody's watching'. I mean you're playing like you don't care. Finally, you are loosening up.
  • Billy: Lance, I thought early on, the one thing you were lacking was confidence on stage, and this is the first time I really saw that tonight.
  • Warren Bros: The original song night is always the best. It always makes the artist a lot better. The first week you sang "George Jones and Jesus," and then it kind of faltered a little bit. This song is a smash.
Eighth and last performer - Brad Cotter.

Brad was at ease and possessed a natural stage presence. Awesome song. Awesome performance. A total Package was delivered tonight; The song he sang was "I Miss Me". Here are what the judges said:
  • Tracy: Brad, You know, in the words of those great country music philosophers Montgomery Gentry, " Hell Yeah!" That was the best song of the night and a great performance.
  • Billy: You know, Brad, Rodney was just talking about hitting the emotions, and you just nailed it for me. If you'd send that to the radio, we'd play it.
  • Warren Bros.:The three of us all agree. That song was so good!
The Contestants were backstage in the holding room with Rodney, Nancy asked him, " What's you best advice for the contestants?" Brad enters. Rodney " Congratulations. My best advice for these folks here is writing is a full time job. And, to really get to the best of your writing abilities you have got to write all the time, no stopping."

If based on tonight's show, Brad has moved up. While George Canyon is still a main focus by many, followed by Lance and the female picks are Marty and Jennifer.

This week the voting was extremely important as next week TWO will be eliminated off the show.

I wish each contestant the Best!
