A night of viewing the Lights of the Holiday Season is a great family tradition to carry-on or to begin once again.

Listed below are some of the best Holiday Lights and Wondrous Displays that the Nashville area has to offer, this Christmas Season.
These annual sparkling, twinkling displays, all in celebration of the Christmas Holiday's, are enough to keep you coming back for more and year after year.

Opryland's Christmas Light Display

Nearly 2 million Christmas lights draw visitors from near and far to see this annual spectacular site. This is an annual tradition among locals and always a favorite.

World's Largest Nativity Display

The World's Largest Nativity Display is featured with special lighting as the biblical story of the birth of Christ.

Christmas on the Cumberland(downsized for 2008)

Over one million Christmas Lights are on display in the city's festival of lights at McGregor Park. The park's RiverWalk is decorated with several holiday light displays, including giant toy soldiers, animated toys and a tunnel of lights. Every Year, this event attracts over 10,000 people.

Deck the Hall Holiday Celebration(closed for 2008)
Country Music Hall of Fame
The Deck the Hall Holiday Celebration at the Country Music Hall of Fame includes program of caroling by some of Middle Tennessee's top choral groups, and personal HOF members appearances, music, and storytelling. In years past, visitors during the holiday season have been be treated to complimentary hot cocoa and ginger snaps.

Winter Wonders
Adventure Science Center
Winter Wonders exhibit at the Adventure Science Center offers a giant winter snow filled extravaganza. Visitors can walk through the falling snow in the Winter Village, participate in holiday activities in the workshop and even have breakfast with Jolly Ole St Nick.

Nativity Scenes Display
Upper Room Chapel
The Upper Room Chapel exhibits its collection of nativity scenes, with over one hundred renditions from cultures around the world. While visiting make sure to see the woodcarving of Leonardo da Vinci's painting "The Last Supper", sculpted by Ernest Pellegrini.

James E Ward Agriculture Center

Festival of lights is a scenic driving tour through the James E. Ward Agricultural Center. Visitors get the to view numerous lighted displays celebrating the Christmas season.

Walk Thru Bethlehem
Woodmont Christian Church
Started in 1982, Walk Thru Bethlehem, presented by Woodmont Christian Church, has offered Nashville a delightful living recreation of the ancient city. The focus of the event, located at 3601 Hillsboro Road in Nashville, is on the birth of Jesus and the true meaning of Christmas. No Admission Charge.

Nashville Christmas Parade
For over 50 years, the Rudolph's Red Nose Christmas Parade has taken place in downtown Nashville. A parade of more than 100 floats, bands, and clowns.
No Admission Charge.
