Nashville & Middle Tennessee Recovery Efforts - Helping Nashville Flood Victims

By , About.com GuideMay 4, 2010

Follow me on:

As the muddy waters of the Cumberland River begin to recede so shall it begin to unveil the total devastation that has occurred in Nashville & most all of Middle Tennessee. My heart is breaking for my beautiful city, it's residents, businesses, visitors, neighbors, and friends.

My eyes are filled with tears as I watch so many of Nashville's treasures filled with water. I fear that even one more drop of wetness could cause further harm to my city so I will continue to hold back my tears for as long as possible and continue to hope and pray for the best.

I have no doubt that all Tennesseans will continue to come together to help their neighbors and continue to work towards a rapid recovery. I hope that everyone continues with their positive thoughts and, one day soon, the Nashville that we all knew will return and emerge in all of its former grandeur.

Please inform the public that all The Home Depot Stores in the Nashville area have ample supplies in stock for the flood cleanup effort. Including dehumidifers, shop vacs, generators and drinking water. Thank you for your help in this matter.
