Kick off the holiday season tonight at Gaylord Opryland with their star-studded holiday lighting ceremony (2 million lights) on the Magnolia Lawn. The lighting ceremony officially begins their annual "A Country Christmas" holiday celebrations.
Participants this year include:
- Montgomery Gentry, currently celebrating ten years of country music hits.
- Paula Deen, celebrity cook, Food Network star and restaurateur.
- Louise Mandrell, beloved country music singer, and star of Louise Mandrell's 'Joy to the World' Christmas Dinner and Show.
- Jeannie and Craig Schulz (wife and son of the late, legendary Peanuts cartoonist Charles Schulz) with Charlie Brown and Snoopy.
- The Radio City Rockettes
- TSU Marching Band and other celebrities.
