Nashville's Ties to the Mighty Saber-Tooth Tiger

Was Nashville the last dying ground of the last living Smilodon? While that may be just a bit presumptous for most locals to fully accept, the Mighty Saber-Tooth Tiger does have a History in Nashville as well as some serious ties to the Nashville Predators NHL Hockey Team.
