Back to School Guide: Mayor's First Day Festival

Created in 2000 by former Nashville Mayor, Bill Purcell, the Mayor's First Day Festival is annual event normally held every August in downtown Nashville at the Sommet Entertainment Center. It features free activities, goodies, and entertainment for students and their parents. Photo Credit: Jan Duke
