2008 Music City July 4th Fireworks Spectacular: Let Freedom Sing

In 2005, the Fourth of July celebration in Nashville was ranked the #3 "must-see" show (up 5 spots from the previous year) in the nation by the American Pyrotechnics Association and drew well over 100,000 to Riverfront Park downtown.

Over the last several years it has been just as spectacular and visitors in 2008 (this year) can expect nothing less with an incredible evening of free entertainment, fun, and fireworks.
Music City definitely lives up to its name on the 4th of July with the Music City July 4th Spectacular.

-The all-day event normally kicks off at noon with the opening of the Family Zone which includes a variety a variety of food vendors.
-Followed by a Pre-show live music that takes place on the riverfront at starting at 3pm.
-The official two-hour concert normally kicks off at around 7:00pm with the National Anthem, followed by musical performances along with the Grammy-nominated Nashville Symphony, which provides music for both the performers and the fireworks.
-The thrilling fireworks display, begins normally just after 9:00pm and features the Nashville Symphony in live performances of patriotic and classical favorites.

Max Q performing the National Anthem
