Visitors are invited to enjoy living history participants from the period of the Woodland Indians and Hernando De Soto through the modern era of Vietnam and the first Gulf War. Admission is free for the timeline event!
Visitors to the park will also be able get a first-hand look at true Tennessee legends like Andrew Jackson, Davy Crockett, Sam Davis, Abraham Lincoln and Sergeant Alvin C. York. Spectators will witness live demonstrations of tomahawk throwing techniques, firing a blacksmith’s forge, loading a Civil War black powder rifle or maintaining World War II vintage gas-powered machine guns. The festival runs from 10:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on both days.
