New Years Eve “Guitar Drop” in Nashville

(Nashville) – New York’s glittering “Time Square Ball Drop” and the New Year will be one hour old as the “Korbel All American New Year’s Eve Bash” from Nashville will usher in 2005 in the Central time zone with a glitzy “Guitar Drop” from the celebrated Riverstage in downtown Music City. The event will be featured with musical performances by two nationally known entertainers during the 2-hour telecast as a part of Fox News Channel’s “All American New Year’s Eve,” which will air live nationally.

Grammy-winning and multi-platinum entertainer Lee Greenwood will serve as Fox News Channel’s National Correspondent on New Year’s Eve from the “Korbel All American New Year’s Eve Bash” In the first of its kind event from Nashville, live music will highlight the New Year’s countdown from the floating Riverstage in the Cumberland River’s downtown setting. In celebration of Nashville’s unique positioning as the country music capital of the world, the traditional “ball drop” at the strike of twelve, will be replaced by a huge guitar that will descend from high over the Cumberland River.
