Nashville Maltese Puppy's need Nashville's help
Thursday September 16, 2004
Remember Jennifer Siliski, the Nashville woman who had hundreds of Maltese confiscated because of the conditions they were kept in?
Well, she has received a judgement against her and the good news is she will never be allowed to breed again - the bad news is all of the dogs that were being fostered are to be sold at auction.
Most of the foster homes knew this was a possibility when they agreed to foster, but the even WORSE news is that the animals will NOT be altered prior to their auction. Therefore allowing these animals to be bought by breeders and possibly be put back into the same situation and conditions as they were before.
5,000 signatures are needed by this Friday to have any hope of preventing these dogs from being put into the same situation that they just came out of.
