Wave Country Opens 2013 Season
Metro Parks' popular Wave Country (photos) is set to open for the 2013 summer season on Saturday, May 25th. Memorial Day weekend traditionally marks the beginning of summer fun at this local wave-action pool.As one of Nashville's most popular water venues, their wave pool generates waves that can be ridden, or enjoyed from the shallows as they lap at the feet. Inflated floats are available for free on a first come first served basis and there is a break in the waves every few minutes to allow for calm waters as well.
For more information on Wave Country you can visit them online.
