The Grand Ole Opry (history) is offering folks another night to go to the Opry.
In it's second season, Opry Country Classics will, once again, be highlighting classic country music and memories through music, storytelling, and film clips of country's all-time legends on Thursday Nights. Some of the artists set to host this new showcase so far include such greats as Larry Gatlin, Ray Stevens, Mel Tillis, and the Oak Ridge Boys.
Opry Country Classics will run for 13 weeks. The one big change for this year's Opry Classic Show is that the shows are being held at the Ryman Auditorium as opposed to last years run at the Grand Ole Opry House (details).

There are tens of thousands of folks in Nashville that take part in the local music scene and industry and while that number can be a wee bit daunting to most, it can and is a definite blessing to many.
This blessing comes in the form of the amazing amount of charitable efforts that this industry participates in from as simple as donating a CD to performing at one of the many local benefits. Song for the Cure Benefit, who provides help to those struggling with cancer, is one of Nashville's little blessings.
Songs for the Cure hosts several benefits throughout the year and offers folks not only a way to help others but also a chance to listen to some amazing music by some of Nashville's best songwriters and musicians. This month's Song for the Cure Benefit is being held at the Listening Room Cafe on March 25th -the show kicks off at 7p.m. and is being hosted by GAC's own Storme Warren.
